SUMMARY:Justice Day 2020: Focused on the Future
DESCRIPTION:On February 27\, several partners of the Justice Reform Partnership will come together to host Justice Day 2020: Focused on the Future. The ninth Justice Day will bring together a wide array of community members and organizations to show Georgia lawmakers that there is still a need for criminal justice reform and meaningful changes to promote healthy and safe communities. \nThis year we will focus on opportunity\, dignity and redemption in the state’s criminal legal system and ways the laws can be improved. The program will feature leaders in the criminal justice reform movement. Individuals directly impacted by the justice system and their families will speak about their experiences and lead the lobbying efforts in the Capitol\, highlighting the issues being considered in the 2020 legislative session.
